Veriflow® BRETT Now Validated in Laboratories and Wineries for Same-Day Detection of Brettanomyces

PHILADELPHIA, PA and SANTA ROSA, CA–(Marketwired – May 5, 2014) – Invisible Sentinel Inc., a life-sciences company that develops and manufactures molecular diagnostics, and Jackson Family Wines, the international wine company based in Sonoma County, announced today the commercialization of a first-in-class test to detect Brettanomyces in wine.

The commercial launch and implementation of this diagnostic assay, called Veriflow® BRETT, follows validation of its accuracy and utility in multiple California wineries and laboratories of Jackson Family Wines, in addition to third party wineries and laboratories on both the East and West Coasts.

Veriflow® BRETT has been jointly developed by the two companies with the use of Invisible Sentinel’s proprietary Veriflow® technology and is being jointly marketed.
